• Testing inquiries: Used solely to reply to the current inquiry and to arrange contract review communications. Not used for automated determination of turnaround time, pricing, or whether a report bearing the CMA mark can be issued.
• Complaints: Used solely for registration, investigation, and response to the complaint.
• Legal bases: Obtaining consent; processing in accordance with law when fulfilling statutory obligations (e.g., complaint handling, cooperating with regulatory inspections).

Affiliated parties shall not use inquiry data for certification consulting or certification business sales.

Categories of Personal Information Processed

Inquiry/complaint forms may contain: name, organisation name, phone number, email address, intended characteristics, and description of intention. Please do not submit identity card numbers, precise residential addresses, or other unnecessary sensitive information in the forms.

The report verification form processes the report number and verification code for the purpose of checking against our internal records; the full name of the commissioning party is not returned by default.

Retention Period

After the inquiry or complaint has been processed, the information will be archived or deleted/anonymised in accordance with our quality system and accounting file requirements. Upon expiry of the retention period, the information will be deleted or anonymised, unless otherwise provided by law.

Sharing, Transfer and Disclosure

Personal information will not be sold to third parties. No list of inquirers will be provided to affiliated certification/consulting businesses. Except as required by laws and regulations or separately consented to by you.

Your Rights

Under the Personal Information Protection Law, you have the right to request access, copy, correction, supplementation, and deletion of your personal information, as well as to withdraw your consent (withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal).
